Detailed instructions
Goal: turn all 49 tiles into one color before 20 turns run out. The array starts in the upper left corner box with a white border.
- Tap or click one of the 5 colored buttons; on the keypad press the corresponding numbers 1–5. Selecting the current color does not take a turn.
- Each time a different color is selected, the entire array connecting to the upper left corner cell changes color. New cells of the same color adjacent to the top, bottom, left, and right edges will be entered into the array. Diagonal touches do not count as connections.
- Cover all 49 boxes to win. If you use all 20 turns and there are still uncovered cells, you lose.
- Points for winning = 1000 + 50 × number of turns remaining. When you lose, the score is 0.
- “Replay this level” restores the original level; “New stage” creates another table. Each table is checked for at least one solution in 20 turns.
